You may be wondering about how you can get this thing called sexy body confidence.
Here are some common routes women try:
There are plenty of self-help books out there that will offer advice and suggestions on how to boost your confidence. These are great if you are looking for something to read but just reading a book won’t necessarily change much.
You could try going to a sexy dance class: maybe burlesque or striptease. You’ll probably have a lot of fun and learn a few moves but it won’t necessarily change how you feel about your body when the feather boas and nipple tassels have been packed away.
Or you could go and have a sexy photo taken. Something atmospheric, in black and white. You’ll look great in the photo. You can reflect on how liberating it felt to be naked in front of the photographer. You may even put your photo on the wall and enjoy looking at it. But there will probably be days when you look at the photo and think, “was that me? Why don’t I look/feel like that now?”
All of these things have their own merit and, if you feel like giving them a try, please go ahead and see if they give you the results you are looking for.
Or you could:
Try something different: Sexy at Any Size workshop+support
If you’re looking for something that reaches deeper, where you’ll actually feel your own sexy body confidence and learn how to stay connected to those feelings, then come along to a Sexy at Any Size workshop.
At a Sexy at Any Size workshop you will meet other women who know how you feel – because they feel the same things too.
You will have fun in a supportive, safe and friendly group.
You will develop a clearer understanding of what goes on in your mind and in your body when you feel unable to relax and enjoy being sexual.
You will get rid of outdated and unhelpful beliefs about yourself, your body and your sex life, and replace them with new beliefs based on positive experiences (i.e. it’s not just about positive thinking!).
You will experience your body in new, exciting, joyful ways, and amaze yourself by doing something you didn’t think possible…
You will allow yourself to be naked and to celebrate your sexual body.
Yes, you read it right: part of the workshop includes nudity*.
Okay, so now it’s time to take a deep breath. Being naked and confident is what you’re aiming for, isn’t it? And what I’m offering is an opportunity to feel how that feels in a safe, supportive, and loving environment. You can do it. And you will be given all the encouragement and support you need to take the step that will give you the freedom to enjoy your body, just as it is.
Getting naked is the culmination of a day spent exploring and building up your own body confidence. It is done very sensitively and with total respect for each woman’s boundaries.
(*You can choose to stay clothed if you prefer – for more details of how it works, go to the frequently asked questions page.)
Just to be clear, there is no sexual touching on this workshop.
This workshop is not for the faint-hearted. This is for women who genuinely want to have a better relationship with sex and their body. It is for women who are ready to let go of their fears and to embrace their sexuality. The workshop is for women who, in the words of Susan Jeffers, are ready to “feel the fear and do it anyway”!
And to make sure you get all the support you need to continue to develop and enjoy your sexy body confidence (in the privacy of your own home), you will also be offered 6 weeks free email support. You can ask questions, celebrate achievements, share stories – whatever you need to make sure that the effects of the workshop are long-lasting and you can continue to enjoy your new sexy body confidence.
